Like many others, I have just had my file turn to "In Process" and have received document requests
Have any other Australian outland applicants recently been requested to send the following by CIC?
"Police Certificate: From each country/state where the residence period has been six months or longer since the age of 18, please provide an original police clearance certificate for Australian Driver's abstract"
This request doesn't seem to make sense to me. I sent a national police certificate from the Australian Federal Police in my original application 10 months ago. Based on the requirements below from CIC website, this is all I need to send, as I have never resided in QLD or VIC.
Do I need to provide a Police Certificate with my Application for Permanent Residence? Yes
Name of document(s) to get:
•Australian National Police Certificate – Standard Disclosure – name check only (issued by the Australian Federal Police)
•Traffic History (for residents of Queensland only)
•Full Licence History Search (for residents of Victoria only)
