Hi there!
My common-in-law partner and I have decided to apply for my sponsorship via outland application, however, we have a few questions for you who are more experienced with this process.
1. Can do the outland application while I'm still living in Canada? If this is a 100% sure yes, on my application form do I use my Canadian address or the one in the outland country?
2. We have two children together and they are both Canadian citizens, do they have to undergo medical exams for the outland process and re-enter Canada with me? Do we have to pay ($150) for their process as well?
3. Is it a problem that I continue receiving maternity benefits and/or return to work in Canada while on the outland application?
Thank you very much for your time.
Best.

1. Yes - you can. When we did this, we listed a Canadian mailing address for my husband for any correspondence and the outside of country address as the home address.
2. No on all counts.

Thank you for your response! That's very good news to hear.
Is it a problem that I continue receiving maternity benefits and/or return to work in Canada while on the outland application?

No, maternity benefits are irrelevant to any PR application.
