Our Singapore timeline Vietnamese wife

I just received an email today from CHC Singapore responding to an email that I sent 3 days ago. I guess I got lucky this time... :
The email replied to my query on PPR after my wife redid her med exam 2 weeks ago. In the email, CHC Singapore told me that my wife could submit her passport to IOM office in HCM City. I have to call Ms. Uyen later today to confirm that if the email from CHC Singapore is sufficient for my wife to drop off her passport because I know a PPR usually includes Appendix A and Appendix B which are just a template listing passport holders' names, addresses, and prefilled File Number which I believe CHC Singapore already had in their file. I hope everything will be fine.

Easy do not "Call or Question". Tell your wife to ride fast!!! to the IOM and drop off her Passport. She will be in Canada within 4 to 8 weeks

LOL... Yes... I just called my wife and told her to drop off her passport as quickly as she could. She's on her way to IOM office now. ;D

Droped off at iom May 20.
The status on cas was updated to ...
"Med result received ...." few days later.

No words to when to get passport back.

I will update here once I have news.

"A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision."

Havent got the call from iom to pickup her passport yet.

Probably enroute right now. Hope it is a good decision they made.

This is excellent news. I think your wife's passport is on its way from Singapore to IOM office. Your wife should probably get it some time next week.

I miss Saigon. Been there alot the last 4 years. China Airlines made some $$$ from me. One day I will ask my wife to go back and live for 6 to 8 months a year.

LOL... Same here, I have become a frequent flyer of Cathay Pacific. In the past 3 years, I flied from Toronto to Saigon 3 times a year. I got upgraded from economy to business-class seats by Cathay for free many times. That was really awesome for a long-haul flight of 15+ hours from half way around the globe
Can't wait to go back to visit VN again and pick up my wife too.

Yes I got up to a Gold Card. Nice surprize when got upgraded. We went back in Feb. 2012 me 3 weeks her 5 weeks.

China Airlines,EVA,Cathay and Japan Airlines... I like China from Vancouver. Leave at 12 30am or 2 00 am. Duty Free in Taiwan at 6am is a good time to shop and leave to Saigon at 730am. Saigon at 10 30am.
