Our Singapore timeline Vietnamese wife

Hey guys, tonight I just finished completing my application for my Vietnamese wife too. Now I will mail it out tomorrow afternoon, it took so long to compile the evidences and photos, but I'm confident there are minimal red flags in our application, and we have lots of evidence of relationship and communication, and such. The package came out to 10 lbs, and is 7 inches thick. I'll keep you guys posted on the progress of our application! Best of luck to everyone.

the second updated Police report that CIC requires before passport request is Ly Lich Tu Phap so 2.
we did mistake and got number 1. had to do it again and get # 2.. doh!

i made that same mistake too but this was before the application was sent, i had to order #2 and wait anothrr 30 days for it

where did you apply for the ly lich tu phap? what city?
my wife did hers in Ben Tre, it takes about 2 weeks to get it there.
Dragoon; No, my wife has not received passport request yet.

Applied in Saigon, they said it would take 30 days. We had to pay another 200,000 VND for it. We initially ordered #1 by mistake because we saw CIC says you need Ly Lich Tu Phap, but I didn't notice the "So 2". I remember my wife asked me, while applying for it, "Is it #1 or #2?" I said does it really matter? She says #1 is simple, #2 more detailed. I ordered #1 because I thought I could get it faster and not have to wait so long for it, because I know my wife has no criminal history.

Wow what a mistake that would've been had I sent my application like that

My wife knows a lady in the So Tu Phap in Hanoi and was able to get it in 2-3 days. We know her from our marriage interview at the So Tu Phap ;D
Originally, 3 years ago the guide does not specify 1 or 2, so we didn't even know.

Hi everyone I my wife's interview was in March 3., they told my wife they will contact her via email or letter, Still no answer yet from visa anyone been in this situation? It has been 29 day and I hope it comes soon.. Thanks in advance and any advice would help

I received a refusal letter 4 months after the interview. They said that they'll give an answer after 6 weeks...

Hello everyone

I received a letter from Citizenship and Immigration Canada on July 24, 2013.
In the letter said the application was received.

On the Ecas status

Sponsorship Application Status Permanent Residence Application Status
Decision Made Application Received

I didn't receive anything after that.
Does anyone know what month is Singapore VO working on right now?

How many month does it takes for sponsorship? can any experienced sponsor help me reply

A sign that your application is going forward meaning that you have passed the interview is when you receive the "re-medical" email/letter.

After the interview, they double checked our email address and the phone number in VN... so I guess they will use email....
