No. As I've said or in this case, we've said, your BGC could have started, it's not just being reflected on your CIC account.

If you take a look at various timelines posted in the threads, you'll see that waiting for a DM from Ottawa VO can be as short as one month but as long as three months. I understand people get anxious but this is almost entirely a waiting came after you submit. There is no rhyme. There is no reason. There is no general practice that's been declared.

We got our AOR2 April 12th. Our ECAS updated April 22nd. Nothing yet. Not worried. Annoyed? Of course. Anxious? Of course. But immigration was never supposed to be easy.

Just try to relax. Don't compare. Keep checking your accounts.

So did they start your background check?

I don't know if they did or not. However me too I will order the notes now that there has been some movement.
I can't link our app as we have a lawyer. But ottawa sent us the email anyhow. I can't see anything but in process online.
