Thanks for your input. I understand, but the thing is that I've already accepted the job and started training. I need to have my Citizenship within 90 days of employment when my probation is over otherwise I risk losing the job.

Did you mentioned in your application by stating in a letter risks involved if the citizenship gets delayed will impact the job.
Try to submit a webform and do a frequent follow with IRCC agent two days in a week ( Mon and Fr) .They can write notes and forward to the case officer.

Thanks for your useful tips. That is what I am doing every single day, but convincing IRCC seems to be a mission impossible

It seems there is no activity in Ottawa. Our application is with Ottawa office and we did our test a year ago in Feb 2020 and since then still waiting for oath invite. It's so frustrating especially seeing that with other offices people who recently did their tests got oath invite within weeks.

15 months of long wait after DM finally got email for oath.

There were over 70 participants for oath. So Ottawa is working but they have huge backlog. One of my friend and his family are still waiting for oath invite, they did their test Jan 2020.

Just a note of encouragement that things are moving, albeit slowly. After 18 months, my husband finally got his oath invitation!

No one knows. We’re just waiting here. Just focus on passing your test for now, and hopefully everything will move faster soon.

Thanks for replying, the thing is i am out of country right now and i am thinking of rescheduling my test to do it at later time until everything settle down from the covid 19 thing, right now i am not sure if i should book my ticket and come back and do the test and just wait for the oath endlessly, or just reschedule it, and do it at later time within few months, maybe they won't be as busy as now and will be less applicants.
