Congrats Messi!!! Good luck on the test!

I received the test invitation on Friday for Aug 6th. Although I have to call them to re-schedule since we will not be in Canada on that day.

ready2fly,

you better check if ONLY a call is enough or are they ALSO expecting a letter from you - which you better send by courier like Purolator or some other good service. Canada Post and mailroom snafus equals delayed opening or loss of mail sometimes.

Congratulation Zarzor .... I have a question: did you receive the invitation letter for the test on 21st July and the test was on 24th July. Only three days notice to attend the test ???? This is the shortest notice I have ever seen!!

No, I received the latter for the exam on July 10.

Congratulation Zarzor, that is good for you, it took only 5 months from the day you applied to the test.
Still few of us who had applied last year and still waiting for the test.

Hello, No, I have applied on November 11, 2014. The acknowledgement for receipt was on February. It took me around 8 month.

Messi, or anyone else who took the test recently, i have a small favor: do you remember what was in the paper you signed after finishing the test at the beginning of the interview?

It was one page paper with some bullet points... I was so nervous that I just didn't read it. I think at the time I probably would've signed anything CIC would've asked me :)

Does anyone remember what was on the paper? I am just curious to know what I signed....

thanks!

Hello
I applied for citizenship last December Ottawa office .

Today I received a letter to write my citizenship test . The letter was sent July 29 however to do my test July 14 :'( :o

I called them and they told me to discard this letter and there was a mistake and that I am not the only one and that I should wait for another communication from CIC . Please anyone else received such a mistake in their letter from Ottawa office ?

Thank you so much
