Orignal Birth certificate , name and date of birth error

I have one issue, hope you all will help to solve.

The name and date of bith on my Orignal birth certificate is defferent then whole other documentation. Name of my birh certificate is "ABCD EFG " and date of birth 22/09/79 while from all educational documentation, passport and whole record, my name is "ABC ABCD EFG HIJ" and DOB 22/10/79, same name/DOB on passport, and all other doucmentation where now i'm living and applied from.


We need to submit orignal birth certificates with copies from both my wife and mine....

My Question is , would this be a problem while all documentation i have same data expect orignal birth certificate in native language, second... this is in my native language URDU, i need trsnlation here in English, can i try to fix it in translation only? by submitting my proofs of passports and educational documentation to "Notary Public" or any else advise please.

Dear,

You need to translate what you have on the Birth certificate, you can't change it by showing some other document to the Translating Notary, s/he will not do that, that will be wrong translation. You need to explain to CIC why you have a different name on the Birth Certificate and why something else on the other credentials.

Even if you were able to fix the name in translation, you think CIC will not be able to read Urdu? They have their sources.

If you do not have a good reason or to prove why? then it is not going to fly.

Do you advise to write a letter for explaning this error? to be honest, i have no reason why Bith certificate have 22/09 and from inicial all education documents and etc have 22/10.maybe its mistake from my parents, but now its happen, dont know really how to solve it.

Do you think a letter would be enough for solve this issue or they gonna take it more serious error?

Well,

The problem is not only the date of birth but also a different name, so it will appear to any person who will review this that you are showing someone else credentials - how comes the name is different on the Birth certificate, I am not sure how would you solve that issue. I am not sure how different DOB and different name will be acceptable. I don't know what to tell you.

I know a friend who has similar problem. His name is Vasanth Singh. His father name is sukanth Singh. Birth certificate shows his name as Vasanth Singh. The passport , educational certificates show Sukanthsingh Vasanth Singh. Just because it is the practice to use father's name as initials. For passport the initials have to be expanded. The date of birth in birth certificate is different as his parents had declared a earlier date inorder for Vasanth to join school quickly. In this case the consultant has advised Vasanth Singh to get birth certificate from indian embassy and submit instead of original birth certificate. Certificate from indian embassy will use the details in the passport which will match to education certificates as well. Thus no discrepancy.
