need some help to explore options to maintain my permanent residency
I got my PR back in 2022 .Current expiry nov 2027.
I am in United States right now and have only spend about a couple of weeks in Canada so far

I have a few questions
1- Can I apply for my wife’s permanent residency from outside US? If not, how long do I have to be present to apply for her permanent residency ?
2-If my wife gets her permanent residency through me, will she also have another five years validity on her PR card?
3-If she eventually becomes a citizen, would she be able to apply for my permanent residency in case my PR card expires and I don’t meet the 2 year presence test?
4-If I travel to Canada with only one year left on my PR card, will I be able to file for permanent residency for my wife?

Basically trying to plan when to move to Canada in order to not lose the residency and wanted to be as late as possible due to other obligations in the United States FYI, my current citizenship is Indian

1. No. You must a living in Canada and meet residency obligations to start the PR process.
2. Yes. But that is years away.
3. Yes.
4. Only if you meet residency obligations which you will not.

As general rule, if you want to keep it: move as soon as possible, period.

You don't say what month in 2022 you became a PR. If it was after today's date, you could still get/remain compliant just by returning (test is whether you've been outside Canada > 1095 days since landing.)

I largely agree with @Naturgrl above, but would moderate somewhat.

1. You have to apply to sponsor her from within Canada, and you have to remain in Canada throughout the process. If you think you're going to be able to manage residing in USA during the sponsorship, and then sort of chain sponsor - probably not.

Where I have slight disagreement: while it is NOT recommended to sponsor when not in compliance with the residnecy obligation, you can apply. There is a risk you could lose PR status, or they could simply delay the sponsorship for a long time (basically until in compliance).

But if you're only somewhat out of compliance and remain in Canada, the risks might be relatively low. (Note: relatively, and not without risk - there's a reason it's not recommended).

Repeat though: if you're trying to figure out how to sponsor now/early/soonest/quickest your spouse while remaining (basically) outside Canada - assume it's not going to work.

4 - Same as one, really.

What you don't say is if your spouse is US citizen or has Canadian TRV to come with you to Canada. You may have to apply inside Canada while your spouse waits outside Canada for PR.
