options for permanent residency after doing Masters in Canada

guys, I am currently doing masters in finance from ontario canada. It is a 1.5 years program and really want to know what are the options I have which could enable me to get PR in future.
Do I have to apply for open work permit? If yes than when shall I apply and I am scared what if I dont get a job.

Any other method to get PR?

You can apply for a Post Graduate Work Permit after studying, provided it is not a private school you are studying at. PGWP's are open, so you can work for any employer. They are usually given for the length of your program. As with any other visa, acceptance is not guaranteed.
