Open workpermit while on visitor visa

Hello Everyone,

I am here in montreal on Visitor visa (validity 8 years multiple entry), sponsored by my husband, who is working here on workpermit. Can I apply for Open Workpermit while i am inside canada? What are the documents required to apply?

Do I need Visitor record to apply open workpermit? As immigration officer did issued me visitor record while entering canada.

Hi

If your husband has a NOC A, B or 0 job, you can apply to change your status to worker. You don't need a Visitor Record but you do need to have valid status.

Yes my husband had job NOC B,
yes i entered canada as visitor, and my passport has stamped entry date at airpot...hope this proof my
