I am a PhD student in Malaysia. I have sent my wife to Canada on 27th August, 2018 in a 2 years diploma program. Initially I have applied twice a tourist visa but it had been refused with these reasons;
1 travel history
2 purpose of visit
3 immigration status in the country of residence
4 Ties with Canada and the country of residence
However, I had applied again an open work permit but it also had been refused. They mentioned following reasons;
1: Immigration status in the country of residence
2: Ties with Canada and country the country of residence
3: Financial assets
4: purpose of visit
All were subclass 200(1)
Well, I am from Pakistan so I am planning to go to Pakistan and apply from there an open work permit. I am worry how can I show the ties as I am doing PhD in Malaysia so cannot show them a job in Pakistan but I may show them some kind of business or investment.
