Open work permit while waiting for PR application

Hello, I have unique situation where I already applied to get PR under spousal Sponsorship, after applying for that I applied for work permit and got it last year but because the PR process is taking too long, that work permit is going to expire again.

how can I apply again for work permit?, is it the same process and same documents that I already used to apple to the previous one or is it a different one?

How did you apply for OWP for the first time? You should context. Also, when did you apply (month, day and year)? Is inland application? You have to provide these information to get a better answer. in general, you can renew your OWP using the AOR if you have one.

I applied last year in October for PR. my work visa was going to expire in November last year. I didn't received AOR by end of september so I applied without AOR and got my new work permit by the end of the year.
forgot to mention that my passport expires this year in July so the new work visa expires the same day. now I renewed my passport and would like to apply again so im not sure how to do it.

Yes, you can apply again.

Just attach your AoR and a current work permit. Apply before it expires.
