Hi All,

I have worker TRV valid till Oct 2021. It's an entry visa for my open work permit (dependent visa based on my spouse work permit)

Im planning for landing during sep 2021. Please help me with below questions.

1. Can I land just before few days of visa expiry?

2. Or, can I apply for trv extension before my current trv expiry before landing for safer side

3. If incase, if my trv extension is not approved before September. Can I still use my current valid visa to land on September.

4. Post landing, can I change my visa extension application address to canada. Will it cause issue?

Are you travelling with your spouse? If no, you need written authorization to travel or prove that you have a job offer or prove you normally live in Canada.

2. You need to be in Canada and meet requirements for extension since your permmit is based on your spouse's.
3. You need to land before expiry.

My spouse already landed and working in canada. So , I just need written authorisation for travel exemption.

Will they print open work permit on port of entry on arrival even I land with travel exemption letter

You need written authorization to show your travel is essential. Many are refused. Yes they should print it.

I already got a written authorisation few months back but I can't utilise it due to travel ban in my country. Will they give another one if I request again?

Does it have an expiry because usually it does as you must come within a certain period of time.

Yeah it's have validity. I need to reapply for it. Im confused will they provide another one

If it is expired then you will need a new one.

Hello all,

I applied for work permit (LIMA exemption) in may 2021. Biometric and medical done and passed. Got two time application update but when I click no update there.

Profile say we are processing your Background check and will update if need any information.

Any one faced same issue?

How I can get the medical request letter canadian embassy since I already have visa.

Not sure. You need to for study permits. Raise a webform. You have written authorization to travel, correct?

Yes, but my medical expired few months ago still my visa shows valid in ircc gckey
