just wanna ask if u had experience or u have an idea about open work permit renewal. Im a single applicant for permanent residence since nov 2009 as i sent my application. My open work permit will expire by june 2011. hope i will receive my notice for PR interview before this date, or else im gonna renew my open work premit. what's the best thing to do, should i renew it now coz i know it takes time again?
it's been 8 months after i received my open permit and still i have'nt receive any response yet from the immigration. the last time i called was january 2011 and the agent told me that my application was still under criminal and security background check.
maybe my application was delayed because i haven't submitted my PR processing fee receipt together with my application package for PR.
