Open Work Permit Question

Hi,

I have applied for an open work permit with my inland pr application and my TRV expires on 4th sept 2010. Since i have applied for an open work permit i should be fine staying in Canada with my wife?. Can anyone let me know please ?

Since you filed for an open work permit with your application and it was received before your status is due to expire, you benefit from implied status. You will be on implied status after your current status was due to expire until they make a decision for AIP.

Don't worry, you are safe to legally stay in Canada with your wife.
