Open work permit on hold

I submitted EE about 3 months ago and waiting for PR. But my work permit will be expired in March 24th which is 4 days later. I applied the open work permit about one and half months but this morning I checked status and it is still on hold. Anyone can tell me the reason and can I stay and work in Canada while they are processing my application? Thank you

bridge open work permit will be issued once R10 eligibility is cleared completeness check! ! or may be your PR is ready, they don't want to issue you work permit!! lol

Because you applied for a BOWP you are on implied status. You are legally able to work in Canada while your open work permit is pending.

Order GCMS notes, these will give you the reason behind the hold status
