Hello everyone, I have a question regarding the open work permit and inland application.

I am sponsoring my wife for PR here in Calgary and want to send the OPW simultaneously to CIC.

On the site it said:

"Applicants who have already submitted an application for permanent residence under the SCLPC class but have not yet applied for an open work permit should complete an Application to Change Conditions, Extend my Stay or Remain in Canada as a Worker (PDF, KB) (PDF, 442.24 KB) form [IMM 5710], include the appropriate fee, indicating that they are applying for an open work permit..."

Do I just use that one form IMM 5710 or do I have to do everything as the other site indicate:

This application package includes:
Document Checklist [IMM 5556] (PDF, NaN undefined) February 2015
Application to Change Conditions, Extend my Stay or Remain in Canada as a Worker [IMM 5710] (PDF, NaN undefined) June 2014
Statutory Declaration of Common-Law Union [IMM 5409] (PDF, 46.80 KB) April 2009
Use of a Representative [IMM 5476] (PDF, 596.50 KB) March 2014
Instruction Guide [IMM 5553]

Looking forward to your reply. Thanks. :-)

Good question.

I am also submitting my info this week for common-law sponsorship and the OWP, and i was planning on submitting the whole OWP package.
Having had my PGWP extension denied, and my CEC application returned after an October submission, i dont want to receive anything back because it may be need additional info, or take up another couple of months!!
