Open work permit for spouse

Can anyone please help me? I have been studying in Canada for the past two months. I want to apply for open work permit for husband. Do you think it is wise to do so after such a short time? I also want to know if I should be the one to apply for him or should he be the one to fill out the documents and apply from our home country. Any help will be greatly appreciated. We are not from visa exempt country.

He should apply himself from his home country. Send him a photocopy of your study permit and passport so he can include that with his documents. He still has to prove that he does not plan to overstay in Canada.

i am also an international student in Canada from last one one month. now, i want to apply for my husband's visitor visa....
i have sent him the copy of my study permit and letter of invitation.
need guidance!!
