My girlfriend is a full time international PhD student with a valid study permit. Her school satisfies the conditions that I can apply for an open work permit.
The question is: Are we expected to prove our relationship? If yes, how? I can see some questions for common law partners on the form but nothing about spouses.
And do you advise to apply on US border or in Canada? Is she (sponsor) going to apply on behalf of me or do I have to apply myself as the spouse?
