Hey guys, my application status under the new policy just changed to reviewing eligibility!

Does anyone how much time will it take to approve from here?

Hi everybody, if anyone can please answer my question I will greatly appreciate it: My PGWP expired in Nov 2 2020 and I applied for an extension (still waiting for a decision to be made) just before this new policy came out . Is it possible for me to apply under this new public policy, even though I still have an application in process?

If applied for pgwp extension before the public policy announcement most likely Ur application will be rejected. I would suggest to call IRCC and take their recommendation.

Thanks a lot for responding. I have check the website but can’t seems to find a number to call. Do u by any chance know the number? Thanks in advance

I called IRCC today and they said, a trip outside the country is okay as long as you normally live in Canada. They don't want people applying from outside country or people who went out and want to come back after this new public policy came into effect.

Hi, can you please share the IRCC number you called, cos I’ve been the 1(888)242 2100 and it won’t connect me.

Thanks
Yes sir
Have you applied for visitor visa before your pgwp expiry? If so what's the status of that application is it approved or have you Recieved any refund for that application

I have a question regarding spousal work permit. I’m going to apply for spousal work permit once I receive mine. Is it required to attach 3 pay slips as well along with my offer letter? Or only offer letter would be enough?

You need to submit payslips along with your offer letter..

Yes, and hoping to get one by end of feb, fingers crossed
Applied on Feb 10. still nothing. According to IRCC Mar 02 update processing time for inland open work is 73days. 2 weeks ago it was 77, then 76 and now 73. my feeling is it will be at least 2 months
