Ohh my word. So it takes a month to come?
I thought may be 10 days as some lawyer is saying that. Can you please share a copy of letter which needs to be attached as a sample reference it would be helpful
Processing time varies. But i will advice at least 6 to 8 weeks. The volume of people applying are a lot. so be patient
Hey I'm trying to apply work permit under public policy but while uploading Imm5710e file its throwing an error
Error Description:
Your status expiry date in the answer you provided previously does not correspond to the Restoration in your form. Modify your answers or the value in your form.
have you come across this error ??
My PGWP expired on 17th Oct 2020..
while answering eligibility questions I answered my work permit expiry date as 17th Jan 2021 (selected random date within past 90days) as per restoration policy (https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...s-covid19/restoration-extension-trv.html#more).. but when coming to imm5710e form I answered my current immigration status as Other with comment Requires Restoration.
Am I missing something??

just a little update and I don't know if anyone is in the same boat. I am aor June 3rd (CEC inland) and my pgwp expires in may so I decided to apply for my extension under the new policy. I received a letter yesterday that I should attach to my current work permit as proof that I am authorized to work till June 2nd or until a decision is made, whichever comes first. and there is an important clause that states " if you leave Canada before a decision is made on your application, you will no longer be authorized to work in Canada"
Please take note of that clause as I know of someone who did not read the whole letter and planned to travel.

do check this below two options
- Apply for a work permit for the first time or with a new employee
- Restore my status as worker
if your permit is expired more than 90days or less than 90days.
