Hello. My husband will be doing a PhD in Canada and I will apply for an open work permit as the spouse of a foreign student at a post secondary school, as it says is possible on this site:

Now it also says that the duration of the open work permit will be the same as the duration of my husband's study permit. My question is, what happens to my open work permit once my husband's study permit is over? Assuming he goes on to get a post graduate work permit, what would I need to do to keep staying legally in Canada? What permits could I apply for? Could I "renew" my open work permit?
