I sent document to sponsor my wife under In-Land applicant. She is here in Canada at the moment on visitor visa, now converted in to " temporary resident visa".
With the Sponsorship documents checklist and forms ......I had also submitted the Open Work permit form, and had sent that in mail with the documents.
The Immigration file is in process now...and i see the Sponsorship file status online. However, i do not see Work Permit status anywhere.
I would like to know, how do they process this if u have submitted Sponsorship and Open Permit documents together? Am i going to receive a separate application number for the open work permit ? ( since the fees were paid separately for both Immigration and Open Work Permit).
If anyone had same expenriance or been through same application process, how long does it take to process open work permit if the work permit documents were send WITH the Sponsorship documents as In-Canada applicant ?
