hello all, I received my nomination yesterday. I understand that post ITA we are required to get the medicals done(along with other requirements). However, do we get explicit instructions from CIS post ITA to get medicals done, or it has to be done upfront by the candidate soon after receiving ITA?

Yes, earlier this month I received a call asking for duplicate ECA report(soft copy to be sent through WES directly) and re-send proof of funds.

Timeline is

Dec 15 application sent and received

June 2016 AOR received

July 2016 new payment sent(old payment expired)

27 Sept 2016 - nomination received

How about ur status now , do u have work permit or its expired? coz I am in little tough situation currently WP expired and have restoration status so i need to know.what should i do now visitors or study permit? What OINP are considering to give nomination nowadays. Thank you

Guys, just a quick question do I still need to upload proof of work experience documents for my fiancé who I included in my application as my dependent even if I didn't claim points for him? He can provide a certificate of employment and pay stubs but the letter of employment including all the duties and responsibilities might be hard to get from his immediate supervisor. Kindly advice. Thanks so much in advance!

No. The dependent's work experience doesn't count unless it was gained in Canada. Keep it out of the work history section and mention it only in the personal history section.

200+ days since AOR and still no nomination.

could you please guide me as to what I can do\who I can contact etc. They barely seem to be responding to emails offlate. The wait is just getting frustrating now.

We are in the same boat... Application sent July 2015... Revised draft sent Nov 4th 2015... AOR + Additional Docs sent- March 31st 2016.... No nomination yet... sad
