Hi Rielee,
Thank you!

But note that my profile also still says "review in progress" for review of eligibility. So there is definitely still hope for you to hear from them soon!

Hi everyone,

Can someone please help me understand a few things required in the Nominee Application Form:

1.Sec A: Current Address - I stay in Bangalore, but my Permanent address is West Bengal. Which address should I mention in this field? Will I need to submit a proof of address for this?

After point 3 in this section there is a field for Unique Client Identifier Number. Does it apply to all?

2. Sec D: Occupation and Education - my current designation is "Social Media Marketing Specialist." Should I mention these exact words under 'current occupation'? I am planning to submit my Reference Letter only for one job which was my previous job; basically because I am claiming points only for that job. What would be your suggestion?

I am stuck here. Your support will help me move forward into the application. TIA

A: Current address is where you currently stay. OINP asks it for correspondence only, they don't need any PoA.

A: That is if you had previously, applied to CIC for some Visa/WP/...etc. CIC allots the applicants a UCI. If you haven't you need not worry, please write 'N/A' there.
2. Sec D: Occupation and Education - my current designation is "Social Media Marketing Specialist." Should I mention these exact words under 'current occupation'? A: Job Name doesn't matter. Please write water is relevant. You are the best judge for what experience is valid and you want to claim.

That's fantastic! Congrats!! So, Passport Request definitely means that your application has been approved for PR, right? There's no evaluation after this? Also, where do you have to send it? - to your local embassy in your country or all the way to Canada?

I have a question for everyone here including rajanvnv (one of the early applicants): How do you guys keep track of who is getting PPR and who is still waiting, especially if there is no updated spreadsheet to keep track with? This feels like such a strange waiting period with hardly any updates.

Guys, had a question.
The hard copy of the WES ECA report which I got via post is dated as 10th Feb 2015 whereas the soft copy when I download from the website (when I click on "Download ECA Report") is dated as 19th March 2015.
Any idea why the disparity? And which one should I upload? (Scan the hard copy / the one that I get when I download?)
Thanks in advance.

Don't know about the date disparity, ideally it should be the same date on both. Please ask WES about why is it so...They will be able to answer better.

Please do scan and upload the hard copy (one with WES Stamp on it).

hey guys need some help....

i submited my PR application on 8th nov, how ever i got married on 13th DEC. so i filled out a case specific enquiry and attached my marriage certificate which they uploaded on my file, how ever as time went by i was getting curious so i called the CIC call center and they sent me the below email and asked me to fill out all the forms and send to nova scotia office.

below is the email from CALL CENTER CIC:

A family member* of the principal applicant could be added at a later date, even if they were listed as non-accompanying dependant in the initial application. However, there is no guarantee that your request to add a family member to an application will be accepted if the final decision has already been made by the office processing the application.

To add a family member to the application, you have to download, fill out, validate and print the following forms** from our website and send them to the Centralized Intake Office (CIO) in Sydney, Nova Scotia:

A new Generic Application Form for Canada (IMM 0008) with supporting documents,

(If applicable) A Schedule A - Background/Declaration (IMM 5669) form,

(If applicable) An Additional Dependants/Declaration (IMM 0008DEP) form,

(If applicable) A signed Additional Family Information (IMM 5406) form,

A copy of the family member’s valid passport,

Police certificates for all countries where the family member over the age of 18 has lived for more than 6 months since turning 18,

and

The add-on request including:
your name,
your client ID number/UCI,
your file number,
a letter of explanation,
a copy of the birth certificate, marriage certificate or proof of common-law relationship, and
if applicable, the proof of payment.
You must write ADD-ON on the forms and on the envelope. If you want proof that your application was received, we suggest that you use registered mail with Canada Post or a courier service such as Purolator, UPS, FedEx, etc.

now the forms which they have mentioned i have already filled it for my self, so my question is i shall fill out the forms just for my wife or shall i fill out 2 copies of each form one filled by me and second filled by my wife?

and also i have already paid the PR fee and RPRF fee in advacne , do i have to pay the RPRF fee for my wife also or is it just one fee of RPRF for the whole family?

waiting to hear back thanks a lot
