Hello,

I received the ITA yesterday. I understand that I need to submit the online form, but what I am unclear on is when should I be booking the medical? Since you got the ITA you can go ahead and book the medical from list of physician on cic wbsite from your area

The following page states that there are 2 options for medicals - but I cannot figure out which applies to me.

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/medical/medexams-perm.asp

Should I assume I am the former, and that I should wait until I submit my online form before I book a medical? I have seen mention of 'upfront medicals', and wondered if this applies?
in EE w need to do the medical up front and you need to attach the medical report(which you get from doctor) undr your MYCIC while submitting the application ....
hope this helps

I am an EE FSW with a provincial nomination from Ontario.

As a side note, I have already requested my police certificates. And I am collating some of the online form info - travel history etc.

Thanks in advance!

choose Upfront medicals.
Non-EDE/worker category.

Hi All,

I have submitted my PR application on the OCT 1, 2015 and still waiting on the final decision. Meanwhile, my OPNP (Express entry) is going to be expired on the February 24th. is there anyway to renew the PNP? has anybody already renewed the OPNP? Please advise.

Once you have submitted your PR application, you need not worry about the expiry of your nomination OR your express entry profile.

Hi guys,
I am preparing my application (documentation) post ITA. Had a few questions. Please help.
1. Since the age of 18, I have probably stayed in 6 different places in Bangalore for rent. And before that, was staying in Mysore. Should I mention all these locations in "Address History"?
2. Regarding photograph, should I follow this specification? http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/pdf/5445EB-e.pdf
50 mm x 70 mm . What should be done for back side of the photo? Should I scan the back side as well and upload the same?
3. Should I self attest / notarize the documents and then scan OR should I just scan the originals and upload?
Thanks in advance guys.

Yes, you can mention those stays.

2. Regarding photograph, should I follow this specification? http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/pdf/5445EB-e.pdf

Yes, you should follow the instructions on that link.

What should be done to the backside of the photo is mentioned in that guide - towards the bottom.

3. Should I self attest / notarize the documents and then scan OR should I just scan the originals and upload?

Not necessary. You can simply scan and upload.

However, if any of your documents are not in English or French, you need to get it translated and notarized. You should submit both the original and the notarized version.

Thanks in advance guys.

Hello everyone. Hope you're all doing well.

I received ITA on Wednesday and will submit my app the soonest. Good luck to everyone else who'll submit theirs.

Would just like to post my inquiry here. Asivad has provided his feedback on this thread: http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/reasons-for-rejection-t306713.2475.html but I think actual cases would be lovely to hear too.

Regarding this, do PNP nominees get any kind of 2nd chance if rejected by CIC?
Especially for OINP having paid extra $1500!! And all the fuss.
Like they'll go back to the province that nominated them and tell that they just forgot, honest mistake, etc., then the province will nominate them again given reason of rejection is honest and just lacking documents etc.? Or I'm just naïve and that this is truly a cruel world to live in? Haha.

Applicants have had their nominations transferred to new EE profiles in the past.

If your PR application is rejected (for reasons other than criminal/medical/other ineligibility), you can write a very polite email to the province stating your situation and ask them to transfer the nomination to a new EE profile. I don't see why they won't do that.

Good luck - Hopefully, you will not have to go through this. Nobody should.

All the very best :) .

Important to mention here is that PCC must have details of those addresses where u have lived. Wherever is your address history, must be covered by PCC.

I got my PCC done with Passport Seva Kendra and there is no mention of any address in it.
@rajkamalmohanram / others, any idea regarding this point made by alee667?

This is perfect. PSK issued PCC s are not time/geography bound so CIC considers that the PCC covers all your addresses/time periods you have stayed in the country since you were 18 years old.

Regarding the photo, let me rephrase my question. Should I scan the backside of the photo and upload the same? The studio would only give me the digital copy of the actual photo but not the backside. So, if I have to upload the same, I would need to manually scan it and then upload it (not sure how well the dimensions would be preserved).
