Question about medicals: Where to start? Do we simply book an appointment with a panel physician and go or is there any form to fill out initially? I don't see any specific instructions regarding this.

Basically yes. You just book an appointment with a panel physician. No form to fill out. Must be a physician from this list: http://www.cic.gc.ca/pp-md/pp-list.aspx

Hi,

I am having difficulty to obtain the letter requested by the CIC:
"you must provide an official letter issued by your financial institution indicating your financial profile. This must:

list of all your bank (chequing and savings) and investment accounts, the account numbers, dates each account was opened and the balance of each account over the past six months,
list all outstanding debts, such as credit cards and loans,
be printed on the letterhead of the financial institution, and include your name and the contact information of the financial institution (address, telephone number and e-mail address)."

I have had problem obtaining it here in Canada and also in Brazil.
So, which documents are you using as the PoF? Are the bank statements sufficient?

Thanks,
Bruno

Hey Bruno,
A few people have reported submitting bank statements along with a letter explaining that their banks are uncooperative. So that should be sufficient.
Personally, I submitted a letter from my bank stating my current balance on their letter head, a letter explaining that this is all my bank is willing to provide and 6 months of statements.
Good luck!

Hi - I have a question regarding uploading the documents related to Employment details. I am working in the same company from past 8 years both in India and Canada. Initially was in India
and then in Canada and went back to India and then came back to Canada. Now while uploading the documents there is option to upload documents for each.
Can i upload the same set of documents (Indian Experience and Canadian Experience letters )in each section.
Please suggest

Thanks and Regds

It is this website: https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/?app=ecas&lang=en

You'll be able to follow your application's status after CIC receives your e-APR.

Thank you for your reply. I just submitted my application on CIC. Is it e-APR? How do I know if CIC receives my application (or e-APR) ?

Dear Asviad,

in June I have transferred Good amount of funds from my wife account. if I calculate from today its almost 5 months. If I take last six month bank statement then it will reveal that fund has been transferred from other account.

Kindly advice
Does it mandatory to give last six month bank statement ? or certificate from bank mentioning current balance and last six month average is suffice.

Certainly not mandatory to submit 6 months of bank statements. But CIC can (and do) occasionally ask for 6 month statements to confirm that you haven't borrowed any funds.

Thanks Asivad. Have one more question...i know its not mandatory to have the covering letter...if at all i have to create one whom i can address it to.

Hello, I know you all have received an Invite from Ontario, and I am not sure if my question is applicable to this topic, but i have a certain doubt about the job experience that is required.

If I have 3 years and 10 months of experience, can I round up the number and say I have 4 years? My concern is that If ontario sends me a PT (I calculated my score, and is over 400), before I have the full 4 years, they will reject me.

Any advice....

Thank you

Need not be addressed to anyone in particular. If you want, you can address it to 'The Case Officer, Citizenship and Immigration Canada'.
