A couple of questions regarding uploading of docs:

1. For Education Diplomas/Degrees, what about ECA report? They haven't specifically mentioned it. So do we have to upload it along with the degree and transcript??

2. For Employment Records, it says "Proof must include a reference letter from your employer and pay stubs, if you have them." What about other stuff like Offer letter, increment letter, relieving letter etc.? I suppose we can scan everything into that one pdf?... And what about other docs like tax returns or bank statements showing salary credit? Perhaps not needed?

3. And I see no requirement for mine or spouse's birth certificate. Only for our child. No need to upload ours?

Thanks.

1. Yes include the ECA Report. You can also include your IELTS report as well along with Edu docs.
2. Yes, you can include offer, increment and reliving letters as well with reference and pay stubs and make them into one pdf. You do not need tax returns or banks statements (if you already hv pay stubs). Plz bear in mind that you have a 4MB limit for every upload and hence if you try to club too many things, you might need to compromise on the quality of scan. Hence, decide what you think is important and act accordingly.
3. In the Express entry system, no need for BC for you and spouse. Only BC for child is required.

Hey guys ,

I am doing my post ita application

Need some help where it says letter from all the bank accounts I hold their opening dates ,

Well I have 4 to 5 bank accounts which I have not used in years do I still need to show that?

And they need to know how much I have balance on my credit cards and loans, will it effect if my debts are greater than my savings???

Dear Friends/Experts,

I made a mistake by selecting as NO for questions 4 and 5 under statutory questions in EE though I had a US business visa rejection in 2012. So, I would like to send CSE to correct my mistake and below is the text I would like to send in my LOE. Can some one review and let me know if the below information is sufficient? provide your comments please.

Dear Sir/Madam,
I made a mistake when I was filling my EE online application in Statutory questions while submitting my PR application under EE.
I have misunderstood the question 4 and 5 and I selected as “NO” under statutory questions section. Now, I realized that I made a mistake and I would like to correct these statutory questions 4 and 5. Can you please update these questions as “YES” as my B1 (business visa) has been rejected by US in 2012 and the reason for the rejection was my intended duration of the trip was long (6 weeks). VO thought that the duration of the trip was too long under B1 Visa and he rejected my visa. He also suggested to apply for L1 or H1B visa for that purpose (long trip).
So, my sincere apologies for the mistake/misunderstood which I have done on the statutory questions while filling my EE online application and I will never let it happen again.
Please let know if you need more information.
Thanks,
Ramesh

Hey, thanks a lot, dude!.. it doesn't look like there is any right number of payslips recommended by CIC. I have only the last 3 from each job between 2003 and 2009 but after that I have every single payslip until now. I'm attaching all 3 per job until 2009. But after that I'm not very sure how many to attach. How about 1 payslip per year? Anyway salary increases only annually. Or 2 per year to be on the safe side? I'm not sure.

CIC doesn't really ask for payslips. If your reference letter mentions the fact that this is/was a paid gig, you don't need to submit any evidence of having received salary.

That's great to know!! Thanks.

Hi Rajanvnv

I submitted current employer reference letter and offer letter, relieving letter ( no reference letter) for previous 2 employments to OOPNP and got nominated. Please suggest if I can upload the same to CIC after ITA no reference letter for previous 2 employments.

I guess CIC calculates points for 3 years of work exp. Please correct me if I am wrong !. I have over 7+ years with current employer ( with reference letter) and 3 years for the previous 2 employments ( no reference letters).

Since 3 years is the maximum experience expected and you have reference letter for your current employer which fetches you the required point, you do not mandatorily need a reference letters for other employers. Please submit all other additional docs that you submitted to OINP to CIC as well but you won't have a problem since you are not claiming any points for it.

If you have dormant (or active) bank accounts which does not have much balance and you do not transact much, you don't need to show that. Ensure that you include your bank account which has sufficient balance for the POF and also the account where your salary gets credited. Ideally, you are supposed to show your credit card and all loans but I do not think everyone does that. If you are submitting bank statements and if you make payment to your credit card or loan account from that bank, then I would recommend you to reveal the details of credit card and loans. I can't really answer if there will be any impact on decision if your debts are greater than your savings, it depends more on the discretion of the officer. But the general rule is, you should have enough funds to support you and your family during the initial settlement period in Canada but at the same time your are obligated to pay back your credit card balances/ loans during the same period (if you are showing them) and hence you should have funds/income generation to cover up all these.
