Guys...for a PCC from India, do we need to get that from passport kendra or police Department?

Refer this thread for a discussion on the above query -

Thanks ash137 for guiding me to the thread.

However I have the following query

My passport is issued from Guwahati, Assam and i am living and working in Bangalore. From where do I get PCC ( PSK and local police) ? I know it is from Guwahati, but just want to double check you all !!

Just checked the spreadsheet. There's already one lucky guy who got DM within a month in our thread! Congratulations @Shikha!

TP424 I don't have CIC's email, but I am not sure if email is the best way to contact CIC. Try to call them. Even when you call them the agents are always impatient and sometime rude. So just imagine how useless it would be to email them. Don't let my comment stop you from emailing them if you have to. All I am saying is try to call them first, then ask for their email.

Thanks !
I would call them today and ask their mail ID

Got RPRF request today..... submitted the fees and now waiting ....

I would suggest asking it in the thread I shared as that has a lot of folks discussion PCC.
My view would be... get your local Bangalore Police commissioner PCC.

Congrats. Looks like the process is extremely fast.

Hi all. I don't know if I asked this before or not.

Please can anybody give me an idea how long it takes on average from getting the ITA and accepting it until getting final passport request? If all documents are in order, what's the average time duration?

As per CIC, the general timeline for completion is 6 months irrespective of whether it is FSW, CIC or PNP. But going by the pace at which ppl are getting RPRF, I would conservatively estimate it be somewhere between 2.5 and 4.5 months (considering the holiday season that is ahead of us). In case of PNP's it is a shares responsiblility between the province and CIC as province has already validated your work experience. In terms of your work experience, CIC only checks if you are documents submitted are genuine, so I presume it should be faster.

There was a tool that was developed by one of the folks in this forum which shows average processing time based on the past few months of data. Will look for it and will share.

Hi guys,

I just got my nomination and would like to prepare docs for the next ITA round. Can you guys please provide the link of what sorts of docs do they ask you after getting ITA ?

Thank you,

Also, can I book for my medical examination now?

You can go ahead and book your medical for early next week as you are more likely to get an ITA this coming Friday (as CIC recommends undergoing medical after getting ITA)

Medical to be done before submitting application after ITA? right? Where can we get sequence of steps after ITA?

Thanks a lot for that info! Wow, so conservatively you're saying 4.5 months? meaning it can be even quicker? Am I understanding you right here?
