I agree with Vensak that it is too early. It seems my application has moved an inch though, the status was 'submitted' one a month ago, and now it is 'assessment' since last week. Not quite sure if this means application is being processed!

Nice, if they do not have more ADR you might get nomination somewhere end of March.

Christina, fight your case. I'm sure you will get it as you are bilingual under French stream.

This is because yesterday they add an additional questions on my express entry profile (assume this is for all applicants pre-ITA).

That question asked which Canada's official languages English or French you feel more at ease.

Christina you just have to submit this additional simple defense to your case. Mention to them that you feel more at ease in French.

If you come from a Francophone or even Hispanic country (or any other language a bit similar like French), cherry on the cake!

You will get it, believe me.

Today we received my husband's IELTS results ( OINP had called me late FEb, and offered to hold a decision on my application until my husband takes the engish exam) and so we now score over 70/100 . So after this , I think I will receive a positive answer soon.

Still I am not sure I understand your proposition . Are you saying that applicants under the french stream should say that they are more at ease with French ?

I am sure, they will let you pass now Christina. All they needed is to make sure, that you will meet FSW criteria at the day of ITA (which you do now).

As for language. All you need is to cash your PNP with this French stream.
But you can choose English as language where you are more at ease (that is what I did - because of me being a bit out of practice with French also because to share with my husband).

And after I did it and still kept French as first language.
There was no problem with that and I have passed A11.2 in the CIO (now waiting for my LVO to move).
