AOR (Acknowledgment of Receipt) is a very specific term in the context of PR applications submitted to CIC. It means that the applications have been found to be complete, meets eligibility criteria for the program and will be processed further.

I'm not aware of a similar term in OOPNP. Under OOPNP, you will first receive an acknowledgment that they have received your application followed by a mail confirming your nomination, if successful. And then they will add 600 points to your EE account if you choose to accept the nomination.
