Tech Draw: OINP to issue Notifications of Interest for Ontario’s Express Entry Human Capital Priorities stream

On July 29, 2020, the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) will issue targeted Notifications of Interest (NOIs) to candidates who may qualify for Ontario’s Express Entry Human Capital Priorities (HCP) stream and have specific work experience.

If you receive a NOI, you do not need to contact the program.

If you receive a NOI on July 29, 2020 and can demonstrate that your work experience is in one of the eligible NOC codes listed below, you may apply to the HCP stream.

The OINP will target candidates with work experience in the following National Occupation Classification (NOC) codes. The Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) range of the draw will be posted on the Express Entry Notifications of Interest page on July 29, 2020.

0213 Computer and information systems managers
2147 Computer engineers
2172 Database analysts and data administrators
2173 Software engineers and designers
2174 Computer programmer and interactive media developers
2175 Web designers and developers

Hi All,

I got a NOI from Ontario with 464 CRS. I have questions on this, could someone please help me in answering them-

1) My express entry profile will expire in next 2 weeks. How would this impact?

2) My CRS will drop to 5 points next month as I will turn 31. How would this impact my application?

1. Once your application is expired, write an email request to OINP for NOI transfer to your new EE.
2. Doesn't matter.

I received NOI today (CRS: 465)
I have a couple of questions.

1) Do we have to accept/deny this invitation or can we just ignore it?
2) if do not contact them in 45 days, are we eligible for future NOIs or we will never be considered for OINP?

1. You need to create OINP profile on OINP portal and submit your required documents with CAD 1500 points.
2. Once you submit your application, you have to wait for almost 60 days to get the nomination approval (600 points)
3. 600 points will be added to your EE profile and your score will be updated to 1071.
4. Proceed with PR application then.

I have a few related questions. Hoping someone can answer them:

1. If I apply for the PNP after I receive an interest letter, is it guaranteed that I will be nominated for that province?
2. Is the application fee due at profile submission or after I receive the nomination?
3. Are these costs added on top of other fees for the express entry process?

Thank you in advance!
