Same situation here:

Score before nomination = 444
After nomination = 1029 instead of 1044.

Already sent message through the help button. I guess it’s a glitch

My score before nomination was 448, post nomination it should have been 1048, but instead it 1033. Has anyone else faced this thing. Also if i add up all the points in the breakup it comes out to be 1048.

Thats because each section have a maximum score. For a certain category you might have achieved a score of say 620, but the maximum score you can avail could be 600.

Ditto!! My score should have been 1050, but it reflects as 1035 . I wonder what's up with this calculation mistake now.

hi guys, I created my EE profile in October and my score is 456, Can i apply for oinp now or recreate a new EE profile and then apply in Oinp because i heard that its better if your EE profile is recently created for Oinp application

With the current trend of CRS scores, I think it's wise for you to apply for PNP. Therefore, recreating a new EE profile and express your interest in Ontario or any province and wait for the provincial invitation is more low-risk!!!

Hello Everyone,

I Finished my 2 year Graduate certificate in Ontario. Got my PGWP for 3 years and currently working as a Full Time Financial Representative for 1 year.
I got to know about OINP Program. Its not yet open for Employer Job Offer: International Student Stream. Kindly let me know whether its a straight forward process or its based on luck like a draw. Kindly advise when this stream is open for new applications ?. Because when i checked recently its closed.

another question i have 3 years work experience in back home and 1 year in Canada. also i finished my 2 year graduate in ontario. so should i need to apply in OINP - Employer Job Offer : Foreign worker stream or Employer Job Offer: International Student Stream ?

Hi,

Won't this affect the newly introduced tie-breaker rule? ie if two or more people in the same pool with same crs, the person who created the profile first gets chosen.

The tie-breaker rule is only applied for applications that share the same cutoff score. Since the current cutoff score is much higher than 456 recently, a strategy to secure a nomination with 600 bonus points to your CRS score must be a safer choice than waiting for the score to drop down to 456 again.
