Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Hi,

I sent my wife and my son applications 3 months ago as they are here under Visitor visa. I am not if this is possible but can she go to school to study a program since it will take forever to even receive the work-permit? Any experience with that will be appreciated.

For the kid, he is just 3 years so there is no Kindergarten for him yet and I didn't bother registering him in Daycare because he would qualify for subsidy. Any Experience there? what can we do?

Tax questions: I am still declared as single at work with no dependent. Any advice?

You wife can take courses that are completed within 6 months. It is the only time study visa is not needed. Any courses that takes longer than 6 months require her to get a study visa.

As for your kid, I am not sure. I don't have any experience in dealing with this. My 2 kids got their proof of Canadian citizenship as they were born outside Canada so I didn't have to deal with issues of education/schooling for my kids when they are ready. My oldest child is 3 also and will be starting school next september.

From things I have read here, but not personal experience, you as the canadian citizen can enroll the child in preschool or whatever, they won't ask about his citizenship

If you are married you need to claim your status as married to the CRA immediately, with the effective date being your wedding day. If you continue to do taxes as single despite being married, that is tax fraud.
