My husband is on closed work permit , me and my son are dependent on him. I am also having work permit and son is on study permit. My husband applied for PR for himself this year only. so wanna check after he gets his PR. What happened with our permits as we are dependent on him?
after PR :
1)Can we stay in Canada with him?
2) how can he sponsor us too?
3) till then what will be our status means. can i work or can our son study here?
TIA

1, Unless you are separated, you should have been included in the application.

Did he include you and your son as non-accompanying dependents? And you and your son already had medical and security checked.

If so, he can apply so sponsor you after he landed. (complete landing process)

You can stay with him until your work permit and your son's study permit expires. After, you could try to extend as visitors.
If you can stay in Canada, he can sponsor you and your son (assuming that you included you 2 in his PR application).
If by then you still have valid status (we do not know how long that will be) he can include a OWP with the inland sponsorship application.
Then you can work after you get the OWP. I am not sure about study permit.

BUT that's all based on the assumption that you were included as non-accompanying dependents in your husband's application for PR.
