Thanks zizu and Ahmed. Those are my close relatives so they can update/deliver the card to me. I was just curious about whether authorities hand over PR card to respective person only or they can deliver to anyone who is present at that address like in Pakistan special mail is only handed over to family members when they can show my ID card.

as far as I know - PR card is delivered via post... so no hand delivery to the person kind a thing... you can relax about it.

in how many days or weeks PR card will arrive, i need to buy ticket for pakistan in advance.

I checked cic website... and till last week it showed 54 days processing time... today it changed to 66 day ... Aaaah... its PNP application all over again

Do two things,
1. Reply to LVO with details of your remedical (date, location etc.) and also send scan copy of payment voucher you received from Medical Center like IOM
2. Contact Medical Center (like IOM) and also forward LVO email to with same scan copy to them and ask why they haven't yet send your medical results. When you get a satisfactory reply, forward the same to LVO.

Looks like everyone's enjoying vacations during winter break .

Guys I am reviewing airlines to fly to Toronto and saw Turkish airline and would like to hear someone's experience/expert advice about this airline for their service, luggage, delays etc. Reason I am thinking about this airline is that my infant child (1.5 yr) will be traveling and air travel time to Istanbul and to Toronto will not be too long unlike Emirates or Qatar and it would help me/wife and kids to get some relaxation. Please advice me in this regard too.

My medical examination is scheduled on 6th Jan, 2016 in Karachi. I have not received Medical Report form (IMM1017 / IME no.) for myself. However, I have received Medical Report form (IMM1017 / IME no.) for my children and spouse. Can I have medical exam without Medical Report form (IMM1017 / IME no.) Kindly advice.

In medical exam instructions it is mention, “For elderly Applicants have to mention about their mobility need”. What does it mean?

Thanks for your reply, not sure if traveling with Infant would be a challenge for 16 hrs direct flight or not but let's see.

With the allowed weight/baggage size, I think I might not be able to take crockery/cutlery in my luggage and would also like advice on how to transport them through Cargo service or should I buy new ones from Canada if cargo would cost the same.
