Hi

I could not send my wife PCC from FBI with my original application. I later called CIC and they said my file is in Abu Dhabi so send it to abu dhabi embassy.

Can you give me the CIC contact number? Or does anyone know of CIC email address? My application was received on 5th Dec and I'm still waiting for my AOP or answer that my application was complete or not.

When you check ECAS what application number are you using. The old one for FSW or the new one for Ontario FSW pilot program.
My old used to work before i applied for Ontario FSW PILOT. Now neither the old one does not give any information nor my new application number from CIC canada received for ontario fsw pilot program. I am in a fix. I just have an email from CIC that my application is complete with my application number and that they will send it to a visa office for processing under PNP program.

True. Even i cant see the old "Decision made" Status now. It only shows the new application. No news of refund

I received mY File number for PNP program under Opportunities ontario FSW pilot program (PNP) on Dec 31, 2012. I had sent my complete application on Oct 31, 2012. In the email with the file number they said the application is complete and will be forwarded to a visa office for further processing. I had chosen ABu Dhabi as my visa office. Now timeline for Provincial program at Abu Dhabi emabssy website shows 24 months. So what is the next step i can expect. AOR from abu dhabi embassy then medical and then canada visa. How much time do you think it will take?

Hi,

Now that you have your AOR, you will get your MR soon, it will be by email too. Then once the MR have been sent to them, they will do a background check. If they are satisfied with everything, they will ask you for your passport. About the PCC's, wait till you get your MR request and then call the VO and ask them. But again assuming that you are not in Canada, I'd suggest you wait for them to ask you for the PCC's. Or here is another suggestion, since you've put your VO as London, why dont your call CIC London office and give them your File Number and they should be able to help you out.

So did you send the PCC or are you still waiting? When I called CIC, they said send it to Sydney, then when I wrote to CIC they said send it to Ottawa and gave the address.

ME request email from CIC HK visa section: Jan. 30, 2013
OWP application sent: Jan. 16, 2013

Here I have a few questions to ask:
(1) ME request email only includes information of mine, without other family members(my wife and my son), any idea about that?
(2) I only filled and sent one IMM0008 form with myself as principal applicant, my wife and son as family member. Should I fill separate forms and send separate application package for their PR applications?
(3) I was given one UCI, can the whole family share the same UCI or every one will be assigned a different UCI?
(4) I payed CAD 550(meself) + 550(spouse) + 150(son) = $1250 to CIO via credit card, which should be the application fee for the whole family
(5) My Application No starts with 'W', follows with 8 digits, what does 'W' mean?

To make things simper, I am just not sure if I need to submit separate PR applications for my wife and son, any answers would be appreciated.

Hi Kurt,

Did you not include your family as your dependents in your initial application for the nomination?

1. Your ME request should have three mails if the application was filled correctly, that is one for you and the two for your spouse and son.
2. 1 form for the principal applicant is correct, it includes the provisions for details for your wife and son too as far as I remember. The only additional forms you had to send for them were the family information and travel information forms.
3. Yes the whole family is generally assigned one UCI for the PR application since you are the primary and the others are dependents. ONly for work permit application you will have a different UCI each, however your WP UCI and PR UCI will be the same for the PR application(I mean the primary applicant's UCI will be used for PR application)
4. They have charged you the right amt for the application.
5. Generally it should begin with 'EP' followed by 9 -digits, I think yours is the medical request for your WP since it starts with W and 8 digits, The application number is for your WP application not PR.

No you do not have to send a separate PR application for your spouse and son. Dont worry, the HK visa office will ask you to resubmit the forms for your wife and son if they find your application to be incomplete. The only other thing I want to ask you is are you sure the AOR application file number starts with W and not EP? Check again, also the AOR mail should have some from CIO sydney.

Hi Kurt,

Its my bad, the forms you filled are correct. I forgot, sorry about that. About the OWP for your spouse, I am not sure about that. I know that if they just issue a TRV for her, she can request a OPW once she gets here at the airport when you land here. Normally the rule is that, your spouse can get a OWP if you i.e. the primary applicant has held a A, O level job in canada for 6 months. Thou, it may be different for our case and they may just give your wife one to. About medicals, normally TRV holders applying for a long term i.e more than 6 month visa are required to undergo medicals, but sometimes they issue a 6 month TRV for first timers and then you can convert it to a long term once you get here. Dont worry about the medicals, they will have to go for it for the PR anyway.

I sent the FBI PCC record to ABu Dhabi embassy after confirming from CIC that my file is in Abu Dhabi embassy. Also the email with my application number clearly stated that all future correspondence must be to the visa office. Anyways i dont think it will get misplaced if it reaches either place as long as we write a covering letter with proper application number.It will be forwarded to appropriate place.
Atleast we can expect this professionalism from Canada immigration agencies.
