first of all congratulations for all who received AOR..........

please i would like to request , kindly answer me following questions for the WP application.


1) how much money we need to show..(is it same what we sent to CIO).
2) what would be mode of payment . i m from PAKISTAN.
3) what should we do for duties, employer, title becoz we are FSW applicants?
4) what is point number 7 on check list....

5) what is all about point number 13?

6) what additional docs should be sent becoz there is no mentioned docs to be sent..?
7) In form .. in education section...are they asking for our last degree or all educational details?

Although I think those who apply from Pakistan have more accurate knowledge than me, I try to answer the questions but to be sure it's wise to check them with an applicant from Pakistan.

1- Main applicant 150 Cad , each accompany if would like to receive Single Entry Visa 75 Cad ,and for Multiple Entry Visa 150CAD

2- Depends on VO, should ask VO or read their website.

3- Read N/A

4- I assumed that we should submit our education and work documents and did so.

5 -Bank Statement that show you have enough money to support you and your family till you find a job.I provided bank statement with same money as the money for PNP application.

6- Depends on VO, but at least Birth and Marriage certificates seem necessary.

7- Last degree

8 - TRV ( You and Your Wife ) and I think there should be a Minor TRV Form for your children , I'm not sure. I think Hadeel has information about this.

@Zain , for TRV , you really need to check with your Visa Office in Pakistan , there is no standard rule to follow , each VO has its own criteria
but in general you need to fill the form IMM 5257 schedule1 for family members 18 years or older , and if required by your VO you need to fill IMM 5257 for all family members including minors , but in both cases you need to submit marriage contract and birth certificates for all family mambers as supporting documents

document is saying that we must submit our Police certificates...but we have submitted original Police certificates to CIO.....

should we send the copy of that or should we again make Police certificates?

Hi Zain ,
I beleive that you should issue a new one ,as it is a new process for WP and in pakistan Visa office
while the police certificate you sent is for PR in Nova Scotia office

if you manage to phone your VO or visit them to ask ,this will be better

I have made sure that the form 5257 is not required in Amman visa office , as they mentioned clearly that this form is required for (18 years or older )

it really depend on the VO , like UK is requiring this form for all family members

Good Luck Hadeel, am glad you have your doubts clarified. Every VO is different, I was talking from point of view of NDVO.

Hello All
Is there any forms available to show the break up of the processing fees that we are paying to CIC. Say in my case im thinking of
1. OWP for myself 150 CAD.
2. Single entry TRV for my wife 75 CAD
3. Single entry TRV for my kid 75 CAD.

In total i need to pay 300 CAD to CIC in a Single Bank DD. But how will i inform CIC about the breakup?

Can we attach a free form letter showing the breakup ?

Yes a single bank draft will do, you do not need to explain a break up, just make sure you have the correct number of application froms for each person in place. Why are you applying for a single entry? Say in future, should you visit your home again, you will require another TRV to get back in Canada, unless of course the PR come through before that, then you would not need a TRV. Also I dont know if you have tried emailing VFS with your queries, they are very helpful. They reply in a day with an appropriate answer.

The fee form is the one that shows the breakup. Pradeesh, why are you applying for a single entry? Say in future, should you visit your home again, you will require another TRV to get back in Canada, unless of course the PR come through before that, then you would not need a TRV.

1) i am confused and a little bit disappoint that why should we submit the POLICE CERTIFICATE again to Islamabad Embassy for our WORK PERMIT application?

2) i know for them MINOR CHILDREN are those who are from 6 to 18 and they might fill the application for study permit...but what about for those children who are 2 years and 3 years old?

3) are they really asking to us for ORIGINAL DOCUMENTS FOR OUR EDUCATION?

4) by the way all the original docs are submitted when every thing is final and just to give visa to applicant.....BUT our medical is not done yet and they are asking original docs from us? why is it so?

Hello All!

As there are two status appearing online for our cases....One for our FSW application status and 2nd is Provincial nominee status.... Yesterday the status for FSW application has been changed from "In process" to "Decision Made" and it is only written that the concerning officer will contact you. However, the PNP application status is still showing "Application Received and Medical Received".

If anyone of you get a chance to check your ecase and have some information please share!

my status for FSW application has also changed from "IN PROCESS" to "DECISION MADE" and i have not received MEDICAL request from CHC but just sent my PR application to CIO and that Application has not been received by them yet and i am gonna send my WP application in next week.....is that status change bad news or good news for me ?

but how should i check my PNP status?
by which number should i check my PNP STATUS?FILE NUMBER? NEW ASSIGNED NUMBER? WHICH NUMBER?
