Dear all,

Can someone give opinion on my query.

I have two years temporary visa for canada for open work permit, they issued me as my PR case is in process so I can use that to go and work. The visa issued by Newyork consulate of Canada andvfor PR my visa office is Ottawa.

What is your opinion that whether they will give me only the COPR or will they request the passport.

They will request your passport because you are not from a visa exempt country i.e your country of birth has to be a visa exempt country to get only the COPR.

Yes it does not matter, I have a visa too but still need the Passport request.

Hi hadeel,

Actually I got the rprf request only, two days back. They sent it through emai and asked me to pay ASAP otherwise my medical and security would be expired and will cause delay in issuance of visa. Thanks to Allah that they didnt adk me to redo meficals. But dont know exactly hos long it takes to get passport request after rprf. I m hoping for the best for all of us.

One thing more to mention that, it was a kind of reminder beside that they never adked me to submit rprf, how come they remind me.

I have a similar update from my side: they sent me rprf request reminder, via email, two days ago. They didn't ask for rprf before. My status is still "In Progress - Medical Results have been received".

This question is for folks who have received their RPRF fee request along with a Medical request. I'm a Ontario PNP nominee. My visa office is New Delhi. On April 12, my file was transferred to Colombo for faster processing. On June 4, I received my RPRF fee request along with Medical request from CHC Colombo. In addition, I was asked to provide the following documents:

1. Copy of your International English Language Test System (IELTS) results.
2. Evidence of your post secondary degrees and diplomas.
3. Evidence of your employments, past and present.
4. Proof of funds for establishment.
5. Updated personal and address histories of Schedule A form, if you are now residing in Canada.

All the above documents were provided to CIC Central Intake Office, Nova Scotia along with my nomination certificate from Ontario. On Jan 17, 2013 my file was transferred from CIC Nova Scotia to CHC New Delhi and I received my first AOR letter. The communication from CHC Colombo on April 12, 2013 was presumably the second AOR letter.

The question is whether it is normal for CHC to ask for documents that have already been submitted. Did any one of you receive a similar request and did you resend the information that you've already submitted.

Any replies will be highly appreciated.

You are lucky for such fast processing. I got my AOR from Colombo on 23rd April and still awaiting Medical and RPRF request...

Sorry to interrupt, but I believe London VO does not accept online fees and only accept Bank Draft's. Online payment is only for inland applicants. Seniors correct me if I am wrong.

Kashif, before reading your post, i have already paid the fees through online and send them receipt of payment. Furstration increased now. May GOD make my issue Solved.

Some points are going in my favor which i have discussed with some consultants.
1. My application was submitted in CIO and not London and it has routed through CIO, many FSW PILOT nominee may have submitted online payment with submission of application through mail.

2. Due to payment issue, they have wrote me in email "Please submit fees and when you will do this, send us receipt of payment". Now Bank DD is somewhat different from Receipt. Though online transaction, a receipt is generated which i have sent to London through courier.

3. Most probably, they may/should/must realize my payment because my case is in a complication and they can verify my payment through receipt.

4. The link which they have given me in email for payment was of cic.gc.ca/..fees.asp (bla bla). They did not give me canadainternation.gc.ca. although i know that is also official website.

Now what to expect? Hadeel, Man on the moon, Kashif and other seniors please comments. I am in very tense situation and furstrated. They are very slow in response. Will they realize and accept my payment in this situation? or what will be the else case. Should i also send the the same receipt to CIO NS Sydney?

I have also received it and planning to come to Canada in mid Aug. Please share your experience as WP, means landing treatments are similar as PR or different? have you get any job etc?

You dont need to worry as you have mentioned above that you received an email with a lin to payt the fee and send the receipt. So no need to worry and wait for you PPR1.

Hello

I am Ontario PNP nominee. I received my first AOR from CIC On Dec 31, 2012. My visa office is Abu Dhabi.

Today I received email from Abu Dhabi Canada embassy to provide UAE police clearance certificate. I have not yet got second AOR, asked to go for medical or anything. Is this normal? At what stage of processing is my file? I must also add that I had given UAE police certificate(validity of 3 months) to CIC in October 2012 when I submitted my first papers to CIC in Nova scotia.

Can somebody explain the process to me as to how it flows - is it from second aor to medical to final visa to land?
How may months it takes to go from second AOR to final visa?

Also I had a question on Canada tourist visa. If I want to urgently visit my sister in Canada for a short visit can I apply for Canada tourist visa when my pr application is in progress. Also if tourist visa is issued will it be cancelled when PR visa is finally issued?
