Hadeel Please advise, should i send PR fees again to London Visa Office by bank dd to melt this ice of confusion. London visa office is saying please pay the fees and when you will do this send us copy of receipt.

My old bank dd will expire on 26 of this month. after expiry i can withdraw the amount which is a 3 week process. (Bank sources)

I think all fees matters are now being processed by london visa office because our applications are now sent to london visa office by CIO. CIO will not do anything after giving our data to london.

I have been reading your issue for some time.....

I feel the best thing for you to do is send new DD and close his chapter once and for all. If your previous dd has been encashed and new dd also gets encashed u can claim a refund later. But with this atleast ur processing wont stop also if ur old dd is not encashed you can liquidate it no matter whatever time it takes. Just see to that this new dd has no issues like names and amount etc.

No, you dont need to send hard copy. I did the same and got auto reply that they have recieved the refund request.

Sorry to interrupt, but I believe London VO does not accept online fees and only accept Bank Draft's. Online payment is only for inland applicants. Seniors correct me if I am wrong.

June 11, 2013 — The Professional Association of Foreign Service Officers (PAFSO) union is currently taking strike action. PAFSO union members responsible for processing visa applications have been walking out of offices in Canada and overseas.

Posted processing times for both temporary and permanent resident visa applications do not take into account work stoppages.

Anyone applying for a visa should anticipate delays and submit their application as far in advance as possible.

Contingency plans are already in place to ensure all offices remain open and are providing at least a minimum level of service. Priority will be placed on urgent humanitarian applications.

CIC continues to closely monitor the situation.

Actually I got the rprf request only, two days back. They sent it through emai and asked me to pay ASAP otherwise my medical and security would be expired and will cause delay in issuance of visa. Thanks to Allah that they didnt adk me to redo meficals. But dont know exactly hos long it takes to get passport request after rprf. I m hoping for the best for all of us.

One thing more to mention that, it was a kind of reminder beside that they never adked me to submit rprf, how come they remind me.

Dear all,

Can someone give opinion on my query.

I have two years temporary visa for canada for open work permit, they issued me as my PR case is in process so I can use that to go and work. The visa issued by Newyork consulate of Canada andvfor PR my visa office is Ottawa.

What is your opinion that whether they will give me only the COPR or will they request the passport.
