A few people on this list have not posted at all in the forums for a long time(some since January, others since last October or before) So sometimes I question how much we can really learn from it...

I received medical test request on 12 March and after a week my employer recieved a background check call. They also took my interview after speaking to him. The call went on for almost half an hour. What irks me is that they had done same background check exactly a year ago in March 2017, after which my file was put in a visa officer review queue for a year. My GCMS notes which I had ordered in July last year read interview recommended because they contacted my university and my college but they were denied information. I checked with both my university and college and they said they don't give any student's info over the call. NDVO needs to follow a proper procedure to get the required info. I fail to understand what is being done with my file. NDVO has wasted my one whole year. If they had any queries, why didn't they take any further steps to clear those in this entire past one year. I just have my fingers crossed now and hope everything goes smooth and I get my PPR soon.

Hi @shri_canada,

What was your medical test date? After how many days of submitting your medical report did you receive PPR. And where do we need to upload the medical acknowledgement form. I don't see any placeholder on my submitted application page.

After exactly a week from our medical submission date, I got my PPR email. I never submitted any report, since we went to CIC partner clinic here in Singapore. They directly uploaded our reports to CIC website.

Finally after a long wait of almost 16 months it is PPR!! Thanks to this forum I was able to keep my spirits alive. Thank you everyone for your support. If you are yet to receive the golden email- I would say just hang in there. Your PPR is round the corner!

@shri_canada- as you also had to undego medical exam again, please can you let me know what is the validity of your COPR. Is it 1 year from your new medical date?
