Online Payment

Hey Folks

I just submitted my application and I paid my fees online. They've also already been deducted from my credit card. I was just curious as to why most people seem to pay by a different method that has the payment deducted weeks after they've sent in their application ? Does it speed up the process by paying online before hand and sending the receipt along with the application?

The option of paying online has been introduced only since 02 Jan 2013. Going by the experience, there is no much difference in paying online / by draft or credit card authorisation.

I think paying by credit card auth or draft makes much more sense as you can track when the payment has been made / debited. Till date, we do not see any application fast tracked with online payment.
