Hi,

I got PCC from hyderabad (I applied from here) today, I can see on that certificate that it mention only about my stay in hyderabad and written that there is no crime recorded for this period under hyderabad limits. and this PCC is for canada immigration application.

My question is, when all other got the PCC, is it the same type os stuff or it includes details from all places in india where we stayed?

Please reply.

Quite surprised! The PCC is supposed to state about no crime record as per records from India.
Mention of "hyderabad limits" looks dicy to me.

  • Where did you get the certificate from? some local police station or Police Commissioner office or Regional Passport Office?
  • Does the certificate also mentions the address where you lived in?

In my PCC it is mentioned about the duration of stay in a particular area in India and also mentioned that there is no criminal record against me in that particular SP's office.

I think the PCC should have mentioned the full clearance not just the state that you lived.

Regards,

This is normal
I got a PCC from mumbai , stating I am all OK in Mumbai
So I had to get a Bangalore PCC for my birthplace.

I think if the PCC is taken from RPO, its fine and will be accepted. I have it from New Delhi and it mentions the same issued by RPO twice....!

I applied in Hyderabad Police commisioner office, do I need to get now from all the places I lived in india.

Sanju1676,

I think after age of 18, if you lived in a Country or County for more than six months.
