I am FSW-Inland (AOR Nov 2020). I got married in Jan 2022 and added a spouse to my in-progress PR application.

My spouse already got a UCI from her prior visitor visa (say 1111111111#), now after IRCC acknowledges my add-spouse request, they create another UCI for her (2222222222). In my application profile portal, I see my spouse details appear as follow in Dependents section (both have the same biometrics number now):

Applicant typeGiven name and last nameUnique Client Identifier (UCI)Biometrics NumberDate of Biometrics EnrolmentExpiry Date
DependentsJane Smith1111111111#333333333#April 29, 2021April 29, 2031
DependentsJane Smith2222222222#333333333#April 29, 2021April 29, 2031

Latest GCMS note shows that IRCC has combined/householded the UCIs. They say that 1111111111 (the old one) is now the primary number. Should I send webform or call IRCC to remove one entry from the portal?

I'm asking because I am afraid that all checks (criminality, security, medical, info sharing) will be initiated twice and this would further delay my application...

Thank you

@legalfalcon could you give me some advice please?
As per IRCC household is defined as:

Household: If there is more than one UCI for the same client, this is a data integrity issue. As there is no way to delete a record from GCMS once it is promoted, the UCIs must be linked by performing a household. When a household is done, the multiple IDs will still exist but they will be linked together.

If you have been issued more than one UCI, they will be linked at the Operations Support Centre in Ottawa.

Nothing to worry about and it will be taken care of by IRCC. Also, this will not lead to multip,e criminal or BGC.
