On Temporary Work Visa - Now Engaged to Canadian

I am on a temporary work visa, valid for 3 years. I recently got engaged to a Canadian and we will be getting married soon. Can I get legally married in Canada and apply for a spousal visa while still on a work visa? I want to ensure no interruption of work /no requirement to move back to US while going through the process.

Yes, you can marry here. Yes you can apply to be sponsored. Being american, I would suggest you do the outland application process though -- some people are landing within 6 months.

As long as you have status here (which your current work visa would provide), then yes.
