Something really very serious going on with ontario applicants. People applying now for PR under ON PNP are not getting their file numbers since start of june. Infact most of them have their certificates expiring soon but no file numbers received.
The bad thing is that the provincial office is not paying attention at all in this matter.

That is so unfair then. The ON-PNP cert took long enough for me and I'm sure for several other applicants too (took me 10 months to receive the cert, a far cry from the 3 month processing time they promised) and it is the most expensive PNP program out of all the provinces. And now ON-PNP applicants are being scrutinized in an extremely biased view at federal level and are being put through the longest processing time compared to other provinces' PNP applicants...

You should raise ur concerns to the ON PNP facebook page, which makes it public and more known to potential applicants.

Did you come to know about renew from GCMS notes. When did you order the GCMS notes ? Do you have a due date on that.

I got mine on September 20th I think n it was mentioned in there regarding extension.. due date was for Septemtem 4th..

Even if the quality assurance ends Its gona take long time for cic to come back to normal speed for ontario applicants

I am an OPNP nominee, file received by CIO on Aug 18th 2014. My current WP expires on Nov 19th 2014.
This bulletin says I don't need AoR to apply for BOWP.
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/manuals/bulletins/2012/ob406.asp

But this bulletin says that PNP requires positive eligibilty or AoR
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/manuals/bulletins/2013/ob485A.asp

So, which one should I go by? What should I do if I do not get my AoR before expiry of my current WP? :o

Bro in either way your permit will not be extended. Even if you file for extrnsion your status will change to hold
This is what is happening right now with ontario applicants

Why would my BOWP application be on hold if I have AoR when I apply for it?

Because the program in which you are nominated is on hold because of QA exercise.
@taurus would detail you in this

Because we see OPNP applicants go through this. Even with those who were issued a File Number, not to mention you would very unlikely to get your File Number in several months.
