I received a letter from CIC via LVO requesting additional documents back in early August but never received a verification call or email. In the reply to my inquiry email two weeks ago, LVO told me that my application is in processing and if CIC requires other documents, they will contact me. They don't know how long will it take to complete processing as CIC said in their letter for addl docs.

I have said this before also that people who got email from CIC didn't got call from OPNP n those who got call/email from OPNP never got any email from CIC for additional documents

Got my READY FOR VISA email from CIC last night (around 9pm) ...
I was stuck in QA and had been requested for additional docs back in June.

(a) are you in-land ?
(b) are you on OWP ?
(c) did you get the qa email for additional doc ? YES
(c) did you get the email for confirming a time to call for QA ?
(e) did you get the call from CIC /OPNP for QA

When did CIC recieve your Application package?

Got an email late in the evening today from CIO Sydney with an application number (don't know if it's AOR), and a highlighted sentence --YOUR APPLICATION HAS NOW BEEN PLACED INTO PROCESSING.
Also acknowledges receipt of payment.

Congrats!!!

That's great news!!! Probably means that OPNP is going back to normal soon. Fingers crossed!!!

3rd of June 2013 Lock In Date as per my GCMS notes
22nd May 2014 first RFV email
30th June 2014 got passport back and the dreaded letter saying they needed more DOCS
Next day I sent docs via email
29th Oct 2014 NEW RFV email
30th Oct 2014 Sent my passport AGAIN

I am IN CANADA
I applied through the Int'l Master Grad O PNP
I do have a job (not that you need it for the purposes of this stream)
I have Post Grad Word Permit
I did not receive ANY CALLS ... I made a few myself
My VO is Ottawa (??? isn't that the office for all In Land applicants ???)
They had originally asked me for WORK RELATED docs ... but then sent me a second email and said that I should omit those docs (I had already sent them in)

I got a QA call from Opportunities Ontario today. They asked me a few questions and said they will send this info back to CIC.
