Many people have been waiting from last year (June to December 2013). Now, they receive some communications from CIC or Ontario. So if your application is just received March this year, you may have to wait for 7 - 9 months before they open and process your file. My guess only! I am also waiting in hopeless from last year with no news.

hmm..ok..so here is what wonders me..traxton just applied and he already got OPNP call, i feel its something different..just my 2 cents..

I don't know about that but what I can figure out is Opnp is calling those people who didn't got email from CIC for extra documents

Mine is 3rd march 2014. I did not get any call till yet but i think i would be getting like others. Why are they asking for job details from masters stream students without job offer?

I really dont understand what type of quality checking they are trying to do?? JOb details or employment checking does not exists for masters stream and phd stream because it is a without job offer program. What else remains?? Only stay in ontario!!!

By the way I received a call from Govt of Ontario. They just wanted to confirm some more personal details at provincial side but now that it is updated, it will go back to federal level for the as-per-normal processing. I asked why only ON applicants are being shortlisted for QA but was told that all other provinces' PNP applicants are being QA-ed too (which isn't true, but I guess the officer at provincial level isn't aware that federal level is only flagging QA for ON PNP applicants). And I might not be in as much of a pickle as some of y'all who applied under no-job-offer stream coz I am holding a full-time job now which I found shortly after I applied for ON-PNP no-job-offer stream...

Has anyone with additional documents request (job offer in Canada, transcripts, Resume, reference letter, Certification etc.) from CPP-Ottawa received any verification call from Ontario Quality Assurance Department?

I just talked to one of my pnp officers and they said that QA goes random from their side. Files are picked randomly to check whether applicants are still in ontario or not. And officer also said that even if you do not get QA you shouldn't be worried as it has nothing to do with cic
But as you all know no one knows whats going on, anything can happen anytime
