I am thinking can we start a petition on change.org as there are lots of issue going on with OPNP even they are not renewing work permit for OPNP applicants..

Thats is ridiculous, you should call OPnp and tell them about this and forward them the cic response.
On the other hand My work permit is expiring in Feb 2015 and I need to renew how to request their supporting letter ?what else did you submit ?

This shows there is some sort of disagreement or miscommunication between cic and OPNP. Its really confusing OPNP is still nominating. my friend just got his nominee and in less than a month then how can the program be on hold? Did you ask them what to do now? what is the way out?

According to what I see they may have selected a few applications for cic quality pilot may be these applications may have exceeded normal processing times at some stages or they could have been selected just randomly I dont know. I don't want to panic. I hope we all get some good news.

No one has any answers. No extension of bridge work permit means bad news .Do not wanna go back

i applied for my wifes work permit n its status changed to on hold .... it make sense that they have put opnp files on hold because i didnt even got the email asking about extra documents.

we all should raise the questions there and demand an answer because we paid .

The way I understand it, the Quality Assurance project is basically CIC auditing Ontario PNP program to make sure they do their job well. The things that I would like to know is whether everybody with OPNP is affected or only selected "lucky" ones. Also, it's not clear if our applications will be delayed in the end - perhaps, after the QA is done, our applications will be fast-tracked? This might be just my wishful thinking... PNP is still nominating because the QA is not finished yet, so they just continue as usual. So, PNP - nominating, CIC - QA and applications on hold, hopefully not for long.

We all are making assumptions but in real we do not know what is going to happen and the worse part is no one has any answers.

Well will take more because Overall PR processing time under PNP is 17 months.

Somebody has just claimed on Study,work,stay OPNP page that his friend got cic no. under pnp recently.
